Buildpic: The unit itself is quite okay done with angle and action momentum, despite the fact that the model is so ill shaded. However, it completely lacks contours which makes it look too flat [2]. The background is a very bad one to start with because of the strange water pattern that makes no sense. It just doesn\'t look like water, except for the color. It\'s a bit like marshmallow pluffyness, but with a distinct taste of meatballs. And the shore doesn\'t make it better [1]. The merging is almost critical. The only thing that actually suggests that this unit could be hovering on that shore line is the thin shadow behind it. The illumination doesn\'t look realistic anywhere since the photons fail to follow basic physic laws. The bad combination between unit and background in both style and color setting is obvious [1].

Model: The model is not OTA at all, but it does fit the general conscept of hovercrafts. The hover pads need to be changed to a standard Cavedog model or at least widened a lot (while shrinking the middle section) and the missile launchers that right now reside dangerously far out on that little tail should be moved inward. The turret could be a bit rounded up and more integrated with the barrels, but on the great whole, it doesn't look that bad, actually [2]. The same thing goes for texturing. There are some flaws here and there like the odd shading of the cannons (which makes them a bit hard to see in the game) and strange (but not bad) placements for the team colors, but it has the general color setting of the original units and doesn't stand out especially much when among them. Heck, even CD:3D is present, although it's turned in the wrong direction (that doesn't matter so much, so no worries) [4]. The coprse is fully acceptable [1].

Script: Nothing special here. The unit behaves just like the other hovercrafts.
Script: Not counted
Balance: The first time I played with this unit, my game malfunctioned and the V-rockets didn't work. I didn't notice that at first and was more or less amazed. It was actually somewhat close of being balanced. Not too close, but a fair amount. Enought to get a score in this section. In that game, it could only use it's laser, which on a range of 300 pixels does 60 d/s, compared to the Swatter (that AA Arm hover) that for rougly the same unit costs pushes abour 20 d/s on 600 pixels range (double to aircrafts). That is actually quite close to balance, beleive me or not. Already here, the Tigers scored more than their share of kills. However, when I played the second game, with those rockets enabled, my mood sank again. So close, yet so far. A single glitch, a simple spelling mistake that would havedisabled the rocket might have granted you a far higher score, but alas. This new weapon does more than 60 d/s and on longer range. Therockets ly high up and far down before they land, which makes them near useless against moving weapons, but completely superior when it comes to buildings of any kind. The V-rockets alone are a bit overpowered due to their ability to easily surpass any wreckage, Dragon Teeth or other units in order to take down that pestering HLT, but nooo, you had to have another weapon, just in case. Unfortunately, these extra preparations are to cost you and cost you good because this unit is at the moment, twice as powerful as any given hovercraft in the game.

My score: All. Hovercrafts. Suck. Period. I have hovercrafts, never been able to stand them. Never had the guts to use them.
