Buildpic: The buildpic is rather ok, but the background should be different. The current is uhm... not so good.

Buildpic: 9

Model: The wings are too thick, way too thick. That also applies to the rear steering wings. The model in whole is rather low on faces, but the two tiny tiny launchers in the front uses up 21 faces each... El horrible !! The sonar dishes could also be placed somewhere else, perhaps on the outer front corners of the wings while the wings themselves should maybe be bent more back too, but that is probably just me. By the way, the sonars on current 3DO picture are not in same position and that is because of me, when I manually unfolded the model and didn't notice the error before it was too late [3]. The texturing is really really ugly. For some reason, giant Core tank textures are painted on the wings and the same pattern on the wing sides gives the impression that the wings are even thicker than they are. There is no OTA connection or whatsoever and as alwasys, the CD:3D is lacking. The logo colors should be placed more on the wings (inclusively the rear ones "\  /") and leave the body completely (or maybe be changed into a central stripe [2]. For some reason, there is a corpse file and that is very unfortunate, since enabling active corpses for planes can create wreckages hanging in the air (beleive me, I had this problem). Exchange the current corpse into an empty 3DO file and don't forget to remove the "Blocking=1;" tag from the features->corpses->unitname.tdf [0].

Model: 5

Script: Wing folding and some reloading. Pretty standard, but I'd rather made the sonars move in under the whings when landing than making them disappear.

Script: Not counted

Balance: Ok... The Lancet (the OTA torpedo bomber) costs half as much and packs one single torpedo that is worth maximum 88 damage units/second (maximum, since it often takes it more time to stop, turn around and attack again). This unit packs a twin torpedo launching system that spits two torpedoes a second with total ammount of incredible 380 damage/second. Thus, count in that the later got about seven times as much armor (remember that OTA planes suffer twice as much damage from AA units, so 3rd party plane armor should be halved to get the desired effect. If you want a plane with 500 armor units, you should set it to 250).  And oh, I forgot to mention that it is equipped with a sonar, that in this case (an otherwise blind torpedo plane depending on sonar information) is worth it's weight in gold... erm, metal.

Balance: 0

My score: Ugly and unbalanced, but however with some kind of interesting new strategic use. I hope it will be sorted out so people like me can use it.
