Buildpic: The buildpic is very nice. The version I have uploaded is the resized in-game pic because the usual .pcx file is damaged and couldn\'t be opened.

Model: The model is a fairly original, yet remotely OTA thing that somehow reminds me of those personnel subs we all saw in the sucky Episode I. One thing that dispeases me is that the unit square does not cover the tail, making it look odd [3]. The texturing could be a bit better too, like for example stop abusing the team colors on the tail [4.5]. The corpse is lacking, but it is understandable for a unit of such explosive magnitude as this [1].

Script: The script is nice, if you just glance upon the unit as it starts or stops, but if you for some reason manage to see this fish swimming, you would instantly understand that there is a brain tumor hidden somewhere in it's movement systems. The tail doesn't beat, as we are used to see from this kind of naval propulsion, but rather jerk irrationally, as if the rest of the unit was desperately trying to get control over it.

BalanceWow, here come teh funneh... First of all, the description: This is a suicide submarine. Build, assign a target and bang - hopefully you get something else along with it. Thing is though, that despite it being a level 2 unit and costing as much as 560 metal (that's not far away from an Enforcer) and having that Puny little Roach's selfdestruction weapon, it is so horribly overpowered that my head starts to bleed. First of all, we can start off with the submerged way of living this unit has. This means that only some ships, subs and torpedo launchers can target this weapon. Skeeters, planes, stationary stuff or whatever can only stand back and hope for the best. The second thing of interest, and what amuses me the most is the totally INSANE speed this unit posesses. It is actually 30% faster than the HAWK. This is a fucking SUBMARINE that not only SURPASSES, but totally OUTCLASSES the FASTEST UNIT IN THE GAME!! Enforcers, kindly throw yourself off the edge of the Universe, for here comes the largest broomstick in the world, ignoring the world of physics to bring you oral pleasure!! Wow, fantastic... but you know what, it's not over yet by far. Think back on any eventual invasions you have done with Hawks or Vamps in your past games. There were probably a lot of Defenders or Pulverizers in the opponent's base, but you didn't care because your planes are fast, arrogant and well polished. Many planes eventually died, obviously, but I'm sure it took a while. Now, I want you to relate to a similar episode in the water. Fast unit, many defenses, yada yada yada, BUT let us not forget the cruel velocity of anti-sub weapons in OTA. Yes, they are slow. Slow like a sin. It doesn't really feel like it because all the ships and subs are slow themselves, and so the naval weapons are well proportioned... Were proportioned. When the Ray comes up within range, the closest Crusader is quick and proud to fire off a Depth Charge to take care of that pestering intruder. What it doesn't know is that the intruder is likely to have touched all corners of the map, taken a spin around Australia, visited Fidel Castro and having a short affair with a sunken ship outside Monte Negro BEFORE THE CRUSADER HAD TIME TO RELOAD!! This thing is so fucking fast that the probability of hitting it when it passes by is closer to null than the number of shoelaces randomly appearing in empty space and if you fire a slug when it's going straight ahead after you, doesn't matter because it can take it. This unit got a total of 550 armor points and can withstand 6 or 7 depth charges or no less than two torpedoes before exploding. This means that it is totally and utterly impossible to stop this thing, unless the player using it is less incompetent than a lobster, IS a lobster or probably both! Wow, so much shit, but we aren't over this yet. You see, even though it is ment that this unit only should do 2500 damage on it's first and only shot (only half if it actually gets destroyed... which is not likely), it somehow manages to do a lot more. Very nicely put, it kicks the shit out of a Commander. One hit, one poof. Plants, ships, subs and floating metal makers doesn't stand a chance. Everything withing an absurd large area is quite firmly annihilated without questions. Thing is that this unit in practice covers just as large area as a fucking NUKE while being JUST AS EFFECTIVE. Why bother your life with those damn Silencers, Fusions and lots of metal production just to build a missile that can be shot down the instant it is fired when you can build an Adv. Shipyard and construct this thing in FIFTEEN FUCKING seconds by helping out with the commander and a con. ship. There is no moral value, there is no justification, you have an unstoppable, cheap nuke at your hands that will clense the seas it travels within some few minutes!! This unit is so bad, it beats Saddam and me by miles! The gathered trade union of worldwide infidels can not surpass the overpowerfulness of the Ray. Every schmutznik in the world bows in shame as I grip this crime against humanity with the gathered rage and fury of the world and throw it down the MONUMENT. Pain is the punishment. Detention is eternal. No mercy. REST IN PIECES!!!
