Buildpic: Let\'s get this straightened out. The unit is very low poly, looking odd (since you never see the Core sign in-game), thus you seem to have resized this picture many times and therefore got a very low and sticky quality on the pic (just like I get on my model pic wireframes when I resize to 2/3 of original size). The unit is also a bit too zoomed in in my opinion [0]. The background don\'t have especially much to offer: Flat lands and a horizon, but it is still better than one-shade BG\'s I have seen around [1]. There is no merging, or maybe it is cleverlty hidden, I don\'t know. Since this builpic was made in 3DO Builder with a background and print screens, you can\'t get much higher quality, unfortunately [0].

Model: This model is got a very low ammount of faces as if the creators specially prepaired it to be taken apart at this place, but I can still detect some. The big Core logo, for example is a good example, never seen in-game, it just take up place and looks good on renders, just like the grey face on the underside of the "tail". The legs with small knee bends are disfunctional since they are never used and could much more efficiently be exchanged with completely flat ones. Now, the main body might look somewhat acceptable, but the cannons really kill most of it. You see, kbots are robots with a hull, a turret (torso) and a cannon (cannons) that are really straightforward. Maybe not forward all the time, but definitely straight. The current design reminds me in an odd way of the demented land of Teletubbies (which I tried to watch once, but passed out after three minutes) or maybe much of the Warner Brother's cartoons. With other words, no enemy would take those cannons seriously. The design of the feet also reminds me of bricks [0]. For once, I see someone texturing the unit in cavedoggish 3D shades, but some of my subroutines suspect that this was an act of selfdefence when I sawed textuiring on other units. Nice to see someone that learns from others misstakes. The legs should be darker, however and both of the telet... uh, barrels need more work [3]. The corpse look good, but I suggest that you'd retextured the arms if you get the opportunity [1].

Script: The walking is simple... the legs move back and forth and it looks pretty good. Very oddly, however, the barrels turn up instead of down when moving from the standard horisontal postion. Furthermore, the barrels continue their small dancing when the unit walks and fires and that looks very odd to me and the flares that shows up are more irritating than the weapon itself.

BalanceFirst of all, you might wonder why I didn't list the Warrior's other weapon, the cannon up there. The answer is that you didn't enable it in the .fbi file and only the EMG fire in the game. Now, first of all, you have nicked both Warriors weapons even with the weapon ID and everything, instead of just enabling the OTA weapons directly from the game (and given a sidenote in the explanation that the user better have the Core Contingency installed) because otherwise, you just waste precious weapon IDs. The second thing is that if you do enable the second weapon, this unit will be overpowerful, since the armor drop doesen't at all compensate for the lower costs and having a better climbing ability and much higher speed doesen't really make up for that either. Then, I find it very strange for Core to have an EMG weapon. Arm got EMG while Core got lasers and rockets instead, so the Core Warrior counterpart would preferably be equipped with some kind of laser and a rocket to make it fit into the system. Now, to the current balance: this unit does half as much damage/second than three AKs (that cost almost the same ammount of recources) and while being just a bit faster and having just a snap more armor, this unit still renders itself useless.

Balance: 5

My score: Please make models that look like futuristic killing machines, not like demented turtles on bricks or disorted shapes from the teletubbie-land. The texturing could half on half be acceptble to me, but alas, it doesen't matter what color you paint a dead horse, it's dead anyway. And a horse should not use the same attack tacktics as a Rhino, even less if it is dead.
